How do I manage my employee’s time off requests?



There is an employee based feature within the Employee Settings that you can enable to allow your employees to request time off.  To enable that setting go here:


Log in to DJ Event Planner -> Setup -> Application -> Employee Settings -> Features -> Time Off System


Once checked, you will see a settings section called Time Off Request Settings become available.  There you can decide how you would like to regulate their time off requests..Allow Any Request, Deny If Assigned To An Event, Deny If Assigned To A Booked Event, Deny If Confirmed For Event. And if you would like to give them the option to delete their time off requests make sure to check the box that will allow them that option.


Once enabled, when your employees log into their own employee portal, they will find a tab on the left hand menu under Main Menu labeled Time Off.  This will open a page with monthly calendars where they can click a date they need off.  They will be prompted for a reason for the time off and can then Submit the Request.  


Back on your Administrative side, you can Manage Time Off by going here: 


Log in to DJ Event Planner -> Main Menu -> Employees -> Manage Time Off


On this page you can Approve, Set As Pending, or Deny any requests that have been made.  You can also Add New Time Off for your staff members, Delete Selected Time Off, Edit Selected Time Off, and also Check Date Availability for a specific date.
