Do you want to provide your clients with specific scheduled payment dates?

You can configure two additional scheduled payment dates automatically that are built into DJ Event Planner. This will provide your clients with two additional dates where payments are due prior to their event. You can configure the number of days before an event when you would like these to automatically be scheduled for by going here:

Log into DJ Event Planner -> Setup -> Application -> Event Form -> Financials -> Additional Scheduled Payments -> Enter the appropriate info -> Save

Alternatively, you can manually set the scheduled payment dates via the edit event form on a per event basis. Utilizing this setting allows you to simply click a button on the edit event page for the event allowing you to autofill the payment date. You will still manually enter the amount required for the scheduled payment. These scheduled payments will also appear on the Financial Income Payments report by Month.

Here are two examples of how this could work for you:

  1. Four payments in total. (fix the layout - email does not like me:( Indent like the numbering? )

The first payment you will receive from your client is the deposit/retainer fee. Next, you could have the 2nd scheduled payment set for 90 days before the event date with ⅓ of the remaining balance. The 3rd scheduled payment set for 30 days prior to the event date also with ⅓ of the remaining balance. This would then leave the last ⅓ of the payment due on the date of the event, final payment. These scheduled payments will appear within the client portal if you have the financial details allowed to be displayed. The final balance due will also be shown. They will also appear within the Financial Income Payments report by Month.

  1. Three payments in total.

The first payment you will receive from your client is the deposit/retainer fee. Next, you could have the 2nd scheduled payment set for 90 days before the event date with ½ of the remaining balance. The 3rd scheduled payment set for 30 days prior to the event date also with ½ of the remaining balance. These scheduled payments will appear within the client portal if you have the financial details allowed to be displayed. Once the scheduled payments have been paid, the remaining balance will be zero. They will also appear within the Financial Income Payments report by Month.

If you wish to create more payment options, you may do so via custom fields. Please know that the custom payment fields are not shown within the Financial Income Payments report.
