What are the guidelines for document conversion?
If you already have a document you wish to use within DJ Event Planner, our staff can manually convert them into DJEP format (HTML). - Fee: $100 for most one or two page documents.
- Design Work: We will not design your contract. You must provide a document for us to use as a template.
- Layout: HTML flows to fit the size of it's container. Exact layout positioning is not possible. The layout will be approximate and fluid, but should look fairly similar to your original document.
- Conversion: Once we complete the conversion and import it into your account we will email you and let you know. Review the contract using a few events and email us know if you need any changes.
- Revisions: We will make up to 3 revisions after the initial conversion.
- Payment: Once the document conversion has been approved by you, we will invoice you via Paypal and payment must be made within 48 hours.
- Changes After Approval: All changes after your approval, will be billable. This fee will be on top of the document conversion fee and will apply to all changes, not matter how small and will also apply if there are errors and omissions on our part.
- Timetable: 1 to 3 weeks depending on how busy we are and how complex the contract is.
- Other Notes: For the initial document conversion, do not try and make changes to the templates yourself. All changes should be through us. The online designer will quite possibly mess up the formatting of the document. We will ONLY make changes to the locally saved versions of the document templates, not templates you have "fixed" or changed in any way.
What should I send to you?- Contract / Document - Please provide a copy of the contract. We can accept almost any format: PDF,JPG,GIF,PNG,TIF,DOC,DOCX,PUB,EPS. It will make our job much easier if it is in a format where we can copy and paste the text. If your contract is scanned or in an image format, please provide the contract text in plain text format.
- Images - Please alse provide high resolution copies of any images used in the contract. We cannot use images embedded in your contract. The images should be 50kb to 1000kb in size and MUST be in JPG,GIF, or PNG format. If the images are smaller than 50kb the will look fine on the computer monitor, but won't look very good when printed out. Computer monitors are 72DPI and printers are 300/600/1200DPI. If the file is larger than 1000kb, it will take too long to download within the web browser when displaying the contract
How do I get started?You will need to send an email to support@djeventplanner.com with your contact details and requirements. Please ensure you attach the relevant files for the document conversion as outlined above. Once the document conversion has been approved by you, we will invoice you via Paypal and payment must be made within 48 hours.
