What are some things to know about importing data into DJEP from other applications?

Step #1: Send Your Data Files To Us

a) Do not open the data files
b) Do not alter the files in any way
c) Save them to a folder on your desktop. Then, if possible, right click on the folder and select "Send To Compressed Folder". If you are unsure how to do this you can still send all of the data files.
d) Send the compressed (zipped) folder to support@djeventplanner.com Alternatively, you can send an email with multiple email attachments to the same email address

Step #2: We Convert The Data and Import It Into The Testing Domain

a) The amount of time it takes depends on our schedule, the amount of data to be imported, and the program from which the data comes
b) The amount of data that can be migrated depends on which program the data comes from. In some cases, not all data will be able to be migrated.
c) We make no warranties about the accuracy of the data. You are responsbile for verifying it's accuracy

Step #3: We Notify You That The Testing Import Was Completed

a) Log on to the domain indicated in the notification email
b) Use your regular username and password
c) Verify the integrity and accuracy of the data
d) No changes you make to the data or the settings will propagate to your live account

Step #4: Let Us Know That You Are Ready To Go Live

Step #5: We Will Import Your Data Into Your Live Account and Notify You

Important Note
Data imports are done without warranty. Make sure that you THOROUGHLY REVIEW the imported data in the testing domain to check for errors. Once your data is imported into a live domain, there is no way to undo the import. The only exception would be if we were to revert to a previous daily backup where you would lose any changes made since the backup.
