How do I export my events and appointments to Outlook or my PDA?

You can export appointments, to-do items, and events to MS Outlook, PDAs, and other popuplar contact managers. There are two file formats that you can use, a .txt or plain text file is the first format. The second format is .vcs, based on the vCalendar format.

Once you select an item to export, you will be able to see links to both file formats. Save the appropriate file to your desktop. If you have your PC properly configured, double-clicking on the file will automatically open Outlook and import the information. Other contact managers may work in a similar way.

If the double-click method does not work, it is recommended that you copy and paste the .txt file. You can also try to manually import the .vcs file into your contact manager.

Please note that several version of Outlook do not support To Do items or tasks. This is due to Microsoft's unwillingness to fully adhere to the vCalendar standards.
