How is the availability determined based on the number of events per day?

Under the Check Availability settings, there is a field called "Availability Based on Booked Events". You can enter a number between 0 and 999. This setting is based on the number of booked events for a given day and is not time specific.

Here is how this aspect of the Check Availability function works. When someone submits the Check Availability form for a given date, the number of events with a "Booked" event status for that given date is calculated. If that number is less than the maximum number of events per day, then the system would indicate you are available. If that number is equal to or greater than the maximum number of events per day, then the system would indicate that you are not available.

To disable the the check availability website tool functionality, enter an arbitrarily large number as the maximum number of events per day.  For example, 9999 would keep all dates open unless you really did have 9999 employees. In which case, the check availability function is the least of your worries.

If you want to effectively use this website tool, we recommend entering a value equal to the maximum number of employees that you have available on any given date.

Other factors may come into play in the determination of your availability. For example, manually blacked out dates and days of the week will close the date, even if you are below the maximum number of events per day.
