Can you restore a deleted event or other deleted data?

It is possible to restore deleted data. However, there are several issues to be aware of.

If this was a recent deletion (within a day):

1) You would lose all of the changes that you made since the daily backup. The only way to restore the deleted data is to revert the status of your data to the previous day's backup. Database backups are made daily at around 4am Central.

2) The restored database must be to a stand-alone domain. If you do not currently have a stand-alone domain, (ie: you log on to DJEP via djfinder.com) you will need to upgrade. If your data is located on the djfinder.com domain, the backup cannot be restored to the djfinder.com domain.

3) Additional charges will apply. Restoring the database must be done manually on our end and it takes time to do this. The current fee is $35.

A second option if this was a deletion that happened longer ago:

1) We can restore the daily backup to a testing domain.  You would then copy and paste the data from that domain to your live account.  You will need to provide your account number and the date the Event was deleted.  You will be invoiced for this service.

Always be aware and careful when deleting any information.  We have provided several safeguards within the DJEP application to avoid this situation. Before deleting any record in the database, there will always be a popup confirmation asking if you really do want to delete the information.
