What is the difference between Master Administrator and Employee Administrator?

Click the icon below to watch a video tutorial labeled Explanation of Employee Roles found on our DJ Event Planner YouTube Channel:

When you first sign up for a DJEP account with a username and password you will be logged on as the master administrator. You will have full access to all settings and features of the application. When you are logged on this way you are not logged on as an employee.

You must add an employee and give them administrator rights to be able to log on as an employee administrator. When you are logged on this way you are logged on as an employee. Because of this, you will have access to the "Employee Access" section of the site. Since it is important to track activity on a per-employee basis for multi-ops, we recommend using the Employee (Administrator) account for the company owners.

Single-op companies are well served by always logging on as the Master Administrator. Larger companies should create administrator accounts for the owners and only use the Master Administrator account in rare circumstances such as accessing their shell dfjinder.com account (based on having a stand-alone premium domain).
